Maruti Suzuki has launched the Musik Edition of the Alto K10, it is basically an accessory pack equipped version of the car. The car is a petrol-only model that comes with a 1 liter, K series engine good for 67 Bhp and 90 Nm. The accessory pack is available at a discount, making the Alto K10 Musik Edition more attractive to small car buyers looking for an affordable and zippy ride in town. The accessory pack can be fitted on both the LXi and VXi models of the Alto K10. Silver and white are the two colours suitable for the accessory pack.
The accessory pack is priced at Rs. 12,419, a discounted price compared to the Rs. 17,516 it costs otherwise. So, the car buyer gets to save about Rs. 5,000 by buying the accessory pack for the Alto K10. Maruti is finding it difficult to sell petrol cars in India as the constant fluctuation in petrol prices makes entry level car buyers reconsider or put off purchases.
To attract more customers, Maruti is offering big discounts on its entry level cars like the Alto 800, Alto K10, A-Star and the Wagonr. Other car makers like Hyundai and Tata Motors are also offering big discounts on entry level cars. Despite all these offers, this festive season might not be as grand as the previous ones for car makers due to the weak sentiment.
